Urbano Santos was a successful salesclerk at a furniture and appliance store in Brazil. In 1988 he immigrated to the United States. In 1992 Urbano’s Furniture was opened and begun selling small household appliances such as radios, televisions and computers. Urbano Santos broadened his selection of small household appliances to include furniture and mattresses in 1996. Since it’s opening, Urbano has expanded with three store locations in Margate Florida, Malden Massachusetts, and Framingham Massachusetts.
